Hullabaloo

Greetings everyone, my name is Syd Hull, minister of Jesus Christ in His End Time body, the Worldwide Church of God, founded by Mr Herbert W. Armstrong.

Ahem. Can we do that again? Greetings everyone, my name is Syd Hull, minister of Jesus Christ in His End Time body, the Global Church of God, founded by Dr Roderick C. Meredith.

Um. Take three, harrumph! Greetings everyone, my name is Syd Hull, minister of Jesus Christ in His End Time body, the Living Church of God, founded by Dr Roderick C. Meredith to replace the Global Church of God which WAS His End Time Body till around last Tuesday.

Ah. Er. Ahem. Can we do that again? Greetings everyone, my name is Syd Hull, minister of Jesus Christ in His End Time body, the Restored Church of God, founded by Mr David C. Pack.

Oh shoot! Forget all that and let's take it from the top:

Greetings everyone, my name is Syd Hull, minister of Jesus Christ in His End Time body, which may or may not be the Enduring Church of God, founded by Mr Charles E. Bryce.

But regardless, brethren, GOD IS ON HIS THRONE, and Thiel STAYS disfellowshipped, so there!

(News that Syd is rumoured to have fled from Big Dave's cult - possibly to Bryce's embrace - appeared this week on Bob Thiel's website.)

Hah! All I can say is that it's a darned good thing that HWA wasn't cremated. Some of these jokers would probably do a Keith Richards, and snort the ashes!

Good one, B-B!

You know, the set of books we call the Bible does contain some interesting tidbits of wisdom. And here's a tidbit I found that applies to this Syd Hull character (and the entire cast of ACOG clowns for that matter) :

"And every man did that which was right in his own eyes." Judges 21:25

And, I might add, they still all do it -- and all the time.

You say to-mot-to
And I say to-may-to . . .

If this is true, just think of the ramnifications--- If Syd can leave --maybe, just maybe the others will "WAKE UP" and leave too!.
We can dream , can't we?.

This is yet another example of how unreliable ministers and administrators of the church of gods really are.

There is no reason to trust them -- ever.

The reason: Their arrogant self-important narcissism makes them think they are superior beings and the rest of us are sub human.

For that reason, they believe they can lie, cheat, steal, practice deception and break their covenants only to cover the whole thing up and make it undiscussible because they think they have the power of God with them, they will win and none of us count. They have no accountability. They can change their minds at a whim and jump ship when there's too much heat in the kitchen or their prospects have grown cold.

There is no reason to believe one thing they say. There really isn't much use of them to any of us because they are pretty much worthless.

If there is such a thing as salvation, these men are very far from it and do not know the way.

"The End Time body" was 2,000 years ago at the end of that generation when all things written were fulfilled.

Luke 21:22 "For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled."

"The end of all things is at hand" (1 Pet. 4:7). It's over, done, and no amount of arguing about when the end time was expected by the early church will change what they said and they said, "soon" in "this generation", "shortly" etc.

How anyone can read the NT and not see that, has to be blind.

This Hull breach gives new meaning to "Here today, gone tomorrow" on the good ship CoG Titanic.

That would be a Charles E Bryce not a "Charles F Bryce." Just thought I would point that out...

This should not come as any surprise. Dave Pack's web site and associated literature is very persuasive and convincing to someone deeply entrenched in the Armstrongist belief system. That is the hook he uses to persuade long time Armstrongites to follow him.

But once in his cult, surely his true colors will become apparent. Considering his obvious ego and all the outrageous claims he makes about himself this probably would happen fairly quickly.

The surprise is not that Syd Hull jumped ship, but that it took this long. He's not the only person who went with RCG and only stayed a few months.

Those I've run into who've done this have all said the same thing: all conversation at Church services centers on Dave Pack and "The Work" God is doing through His (new and improved) end time Apostle. It's the classic Armstrong style personality cult - deja vu all over again.

Only a true fanatic would put up with it for long.

Praise the lard Stinger is quoting scripture. :)

Here's a companion verse for Judges 21

" The thing that has been,it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." Eccl.1:9

Same old same old...the ACOG method of practice makes perfect.

Practice in one church and move on to practice in another, etc. etc. etc.

And I say tomatoe...

In reference to BB's post

Some may consider Herb's grave holy ground, so maybe a little snorting of said dirt has taken place already?

Or the grass has been clipped for a little smoke now and then.

( If you are what you eat, maybe you are what you inhale :)

if that is true, then RCG is made up of people that worship Dave Pack instead God.....but then the world is full of organizations such as that......RCG is nothing new.

I know there were have been people who worshipped HWA, GTA & others, and that those folks have been mixed in with the Church, but they don't worry those of us who worship God.

the sad thing is that they provide ammo to those who want to discredit the Church and it's doctrine. (but then, that's ok too)

Will the COG ministry ever come out of the box?

Can anyone help me; was it a pack of lies or a pack of wolves?

Was it Charles Bryce or Charles vice Grip?

It just begs the question is your church praying for you or preying upon you.

I guess the April Fools joke was actually on Dave Pack!

However, this is legitimate.

“Anon LCG” posted this over at Livingcog Yahoo group:

“According to today’s update from the Enduring Church of God, Syd Hull and his wife will be joining Charles Bryce in the Enduring COG”

ECG’s update can be read from this post at Livingcog, here:

And ammo they do provide will be used against them! They MUST be accountable! The Churches of God as are of a whore house. It is all business and no matter how they white wash themselves, in the end they are still a whore house full of prostitutes (membership that worships HWA) and pimps who call themselves "servants of God" otherwise known as the ministry!
